Paul, some folks receive a pink Cadillac if they sell a certain amount of a particular lady's cosmetic brand.

I wonder if Clubman has a similar program for their sales force?

Anyone else here think it would be hard to pack @Primotenore's desert island suitcase?

To be honest, I did not consider the feathers. In my defense, though, I had a Cavalier Hat in mind for informal occasions...and it does have Ostrich feathers.

I have nothing else to add at this time.

    July 13 - Arkadia / Shave No. 69

Who says one can't travel in style? Here's my travel shave den, complete with dental and lens care. My 3017 began on March 5, and the Arkadia is still hangin' in there.

@brit...this extremely rare and museum-quality Gillette Red Tip with matching case is not for sale.

@Primotenore the sample sprayer contains a most highly-coveted stank, Stetson. I was fortunate to snag a Christmas gift set of the cologne and aftershave at Walgreen's for $11.

My pre-shave face soap is a sample of Stirling Iced Pineapple. Wow, a very nice way to wake up and start the shave.

And just for fun...and because I'm not at home...I showered with an 80% aired-out puck of Midnight Stag. It worked great, but I rinsed off afterward for 30 minutes just to be sure. :D

I enjoy following along with my friends here on their 3017 exploits. Keep up the great work, and we'll be out of soap in...well...at least we'll have fun. :)

Somewhere, a High School English teacher is now using this as a textbook example of a Paradox (juxtaposition? Oxymoron? :signs002:)

Ahh yes. Two of life’s great questions-
    1. Why did the Howells pack so much for a ‘4 hour tour’?
    2. Ginger or Mary Anne?
    Bonus-
    3. If The Professor can make a washing machine out of coconuts, how come he can’t fix the darn boat?

Very nice. I know that isn’t your den, just putting your weekly software out?

Many moons ago, I was the editor of my high school newspaper. I probably won't share my TSD posts with the (long since retired) English teacher that offered me the opportunity.

Thanks Jason. That actually is my den for awhile. We're at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for my Bride's checkup (expecting great news). We have a room at a local 'transplant house' (a wonderful place) and lot of free time so that we can explore the local area. Instead of packing, I just used some small plastic tubs to transfer the health/hygiene/shaving items I plan to use while we're here.

I saw my toothbrush sitting there next to my shave gear and figured that @Primotenore would delight in seeing the photo.

My Bride is not fond of bar soap residue in the shower at home, so I brought a variety of different ones to try on this trip: various Stirling scents, MWF, Midnight Stag (ahem), and Yardley.

We stay at the same place every time we travel to MN, and one of your handcrafted brushes always lands in my travel shave den. :)

...and, we're done. It was a good run with plenty of great shaves. Off "glamping" this weekend, sans shaving. Looking forward to my next 3017.
