Am I ever lucky I used my 50s Super Speed because I shaved so fast this morning in order to be able to take my in-laws to the airport. They’re going to Toronto for a few days. If I would have used another razor I probably would have gotten cut all over my face but this old boy left me as smooth as silk with no issues whatsoever. My dear friend Abir’s Shepherd soap is lovely - the scent is so beautiful, it lathers like a champ, and the skincare is super. The Aveeno moisturizer is unscented so I can enjoy the delightful scent of the English Leather aftershave. What a great shave this was in spite of how fast it was!

The Williams Mug Shaving Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #371 Badger/Boar brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1957 Gillette Rocket and a Gillette Nacet Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Her my Shave of the day (19.07.2023)


Pre: none // Razor: Mühle Rocca // Blade: Polsiver Super Iridium // Soap: MSC Deep Blue // Brush: PAA Phantom Aerolite // Aftershave: Aqua Velva

Today i had the first shave with the MSC Deep Blue. The scent is a good mix of light Peach and Citrus notes with some „blue“ notes. I don ´t know how to describe it better but the scent is fantastic. A great summer scent.

The Rocca? Easy one of THE best razors in my collection. It shaves so wonderful. Extremely smooth, gentle and thoroughly. Matched good with the PSI.

Lather was very thick, slick and protective. This soap is really a great soap. Right up in the alley of PAA, Sudsy Soapery and Co. At last i used the Aqua Velva Aftershave, because you know: There is something about an Aqua Velva Man…
