I don't get ingrown hairs because I shave only with the grain or across the grain. I never shave against the grain, even if I use a Gillette super speed.
I found I get a smooth shave using a new blade in a MMOC, Yaqi Helmet, Cooper unibuilt etc.... Tom's razor gives me the closest one pass shave out of everything I own with a new feather blade.
I only get a couple hours of smootnness if I do a BBS shave so it's not worth it to me. I despise the bumps.
But everyone needs to figure out what's good for them.

I caught covid and been dealing with it since Friday morning. Basically laying around like a wet towel for now.
I missed Friday shave but gonna see if I feel like getting a shave when I get up this morning. Gotta get this stuff cut off before I got a beard, I hate beards.

Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Pears with Mint Extracts Transparent Bar Soap.
Brush: Anbbas 24mm Tuxedo synthetic.
Head & Face Lather.
Bowl: Home Bargains Stainless Steel Side Bowl.
Lather: Ach Brito Mogno Shaving soap.
Razor: Parker 24C. - Personna Comfort Coated. (D1)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Head/Dome) (Settings) 4-wtg. 4-xtg/atg.+pick-ups. - Personna Injector PTFE. (D8)

Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./ Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse. /Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Davidoff Cool Water ASL./Aloe Vera Cooling Gel.

A new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend....Another superb performance from the Ach Brito Mogno Shaving Soap Bar which i use like a shave stick rubbing it directly into my stubble then build up a lather with my wet brush adding more water to the tips of the brush continued building the lather until i get it to the consistency i prefer.

My reacquaintance with both the Personna Comfort Coated & Parker 24C open comb razor has been fantastic....This duo really works well together.

Another close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave shave off with a few small dollops of Aloe Vera Cooling Gel.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth cool and smelling divine.

… Bowl = Op Shop Microwave proof made in Japan
Razor = Gillette New OC 1930s
Blade = Treet, one and done

2 ½ passes plus touch ups, mainly WTG and XTG both ways within each pass
Revisited my beard map: changing up what I am doing in the lower neck areas, trying to avoid ATG
Post = Cold water rinse, alum, CWR, Thayers’, Brut ASL, Proraso AS balm
Scent = Guerlain pour homme EdP

Much better shave this morning...because? >>> OC razor, more time since last shave, new blade, Cella lathered well with the LatherMeister method, less buffing, less ATG

Super smooth ::: minor weeper lower chin/cleft area ::: self-healing with cold water
Score = super duper 9/10
