    I'm glad some stores have that Gillette Ssries A.S. I've used it before....the "wave" wasn't "cool" enough IMO. Smelled nice though.

    As promised, I brought out one of my Sons of Thunder for this afternoon's shave. I have only had to refresh this blade once in the 81 shaves with Max. It is a testament to the craftsmanship of Mr. Sprecher. I really never had a bad shave with this Straight and today's no exception.
    I picked out Stirling Tsuka because I wanted to smell nice for this evening's service. Here's today's lather:

    Although I only needed two passes, I did 3 because I had enough lather and wanted to continue enjoying this shave. I was a shade under BBS, but I didn't getting any blood loss or irritation. I did a 4th lather on my face to enjoy the scent and then rinsed it off my face. I really had enough for 5 lather passes. Stirling is just awesome. The alum did give me some feedback. Applied the Witch Hazel to calm my skin. Splashed and spritzed the matching aftershave and the eau DE toilette. I really enjoyed today's shave. Tomorrow, I will end the month with the larger brother, Artie (13/8 ArtRazor 1000). Take care.
