  1. Great start to the month Joe. Btw, I find it funny that your wife likes a smooth face, but not a smooth head. You know that I couldn't pass that opening up and let it slip by the wayside. :happy097:

    02 Aug 2023

(Adjustable, Arko August, Artisan August, Anything goes, Adapting-Adjusting-on-the-fly August)

    Setup Similar to y’day
    24+ hours
Stuck with the Feather (2) and Gillette combo
Brush = Puro Tasso Boar loading from the TOBS Tub
Cream = loaded the brush, then into the bowl, but later on Back To TOBS Tub for more thickness
Passes = was planning a lazy one passer, but this will never work, so finished up with the usual 3 + clean ups
Technique = adding some W-E and E-W in the lower lip area to see if that helps; elsewhere leading hand stretching and leading the way and following with WTG and XTG
Damage was minimal, minor tinge of claret top left lip, cold water took care of that
    Post = Usual

A very August shave = adjective = inspiring reverence or admiration; of supreme dignity or grandeur; majestic: venerable; eminent…oh well you get the idea ...

Generally Super Smooth, Nearly an AOAIG = 8.6/10 Lol!
  10. Terrific inaugural August shave Chris. I didn't know you were such a word maven. I like it.

  12. Thanks Gary, nice info

Well, that would be worthy of an August shave, indeed

Seen those on Etsy for anything up to US 900 the cheek of it!. Quickly hit the Close Tab button
Gold plated Slim in a $800 presentation case....Hmmmm
    Maybe for November (Non-affordable!)
Matt thinks they are not that rare

Wait: here is one: a knock-off interesting wonder what they are like. There seem to be quite a few Russian clones about

  14. I mentioned last week that my Medicare Advantage Health plan sent a colorectal cancer screening home test kit. I had completed it and sent it back to await my results. I just got the results and I tested negative. So I am happy about this news. I wasn't really worried because I don't have a family history of this type of cancer. However, it's good to know that l don't have to see a specialist to get a colonoscopy. As we all know, if you test positive on anything, then you are automatically directed to get more invasive procedures. I thank God for this result.
  15. Excellent news Joe. Its always a relief when its negative.
  16. Thanks Chris. It definitely is one less thing to worry about.

  17. For me, it could be AGADIR August, but that wouldn't work, as I have a similar one for October(OUDtober), during which time I break out the Agadir(oud wood is the feature scent). Besides it feels better in Oudtober, as the weather turns cooler.
  18. Gary, it's too bad we don't have a month that begins with G for ya.
