The TSD Iced Lime Shave Stick lathered well with the Red and Black Badger Brush by Tom. Two passes and touch ups with the Red and Black OT Razor by T. White and a Gillette Nacet Stainless Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Preshave: Hot shower
Soap/Shave cream: Stirling Soap Bay Rum
Brush: Perfecto Badger
Razor: 1952 Gillette Super Speed
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Post shave: Gillette Gel

The only (minor) drawback to an otherwise perfect shave was the Stirling Bay Rum crumbling as I loaded the brush but it's just a thin sample size so no big deal.
I wasn't a fan of the Silver Blue blade when I first tried it but now it's slipped into my "Hey, that's not so bad after all" category.
Just a fantastic smooth and close shave. The old vintage Gillette Super Speeds are simply amazing ... so much so I already have 4 of them and another one on the way.

I'm on a bit of a vintage kick this week. The 1953 (birth year) Super Speed is my favorite razor and today it delivered yet another perfect shave.
