Well I hope to be back posting more often before too long, a new roof is on the house, and lots of brush chopping. Surprisingly, the summer here in East Tennessee has been seasonable and pretty comfortable as summers here go, we’re not getting the bad heat that other parts of the south have been getting although the humidity is pretty uncomfortable, as usual.
Today, the Gauthier rattler, a favorite and a souvenir from Avignon. The ‘cream’ was SMN travel size canned foam that was a freebie with an order. It’s excellent, but quite the odd product. It’s very thick, seems unscented, and the post shave is good enough that you don’t need any AS. If you try to put it on thinly it dissipates. It’s slick, and I imagine DE/SE shavers would love this stuff.
Since I didn’t use AS, the fragrance was SMN Acqua di Cuba. This is supposed to be a citrus woody scent, but darned if I can detect much if any citrus. It is a very nice scent, and is very close to the ABC red sandalwood hard soap scent which is also a wonderful scent.
