Outstanding: “marked by superiority or distinction; excellent; distinguished” Just a little confused by your rating system that gives an “outstanding” for a shave with a plethora of Knicks. I am sure you have had many outstanding shaves without errors. I am sure you like this shave, perhaps the scent of the soap and splash were very nice. There lies my confusion
Ahh, OK....well, I used the same theme for "excellent". Fact is, Joe, all my shaves are outstanding. Just HOW outstanding is determined by the shave itself. And for the other point, I don't rate my shaves on choice of soap and aftershave splash.
Great way to close out the Zingari Man/Coniferous w/Menthol pairing(until next time). The ZM really softens up the face and neck to prepare for the shave. Goose eggs across the board for cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. Always a good sign. "Ice-chipping" motion across the jawline. Worked for me. 2 passes. Very happy. As Outstanding As It Gets.

I can understand the software not being part of the rating system. Are the degree or number of Knicks or polka dots into consideration? The more Knicks or pdsthe higher the score? I guess my frustration for you is that as much of an experience wetshaver as yourself and on of the top posters on the TSD, is that the results have not seem to change even when given numerous pieces of advice to assist you. I just don’t know what is the cause. The type of razor? Blade? 1, 2 or 5 blade cart. I know you are capable of great shaves. I would just love to see you get there more often.
