Today, I brought out my other Dovo for this shave. It is their most inexpensive straight. I bought this new for $79 in 2019. Anyway, it was good to use my Dovo straights because I hardly use them. I guess it's my hobby hazard of having too many razors. Lol!

Anyway, I finally finished this puck of Cryogen SS. This was my second Cryogen puck and I have to say that it's a soap that needs plenty of water to give a nice, creamy and slick lather. This soap is not for the faint of heart. Lol! Seriously, it does bring the menthol experience to a different level. Here's today's lather:



Did 3 passes for an error-free very near BBS. I am really splitting hairs ( pun intended), but most shavers would consider it BBS. There wasn't any alum feedback which is not surprising because this razor cut through my 1 day stubble like it was nothing. In fact, I could have called it done after 1 pass, but I am at least a 2 pass shaver. Lately, it's been 3 passes for me. Finished with my usual postshave ritual of applying the witch hazel and the cooling aftershave. Tomorrow, I will do a head and face shave. I will use my Dovo Shavette and my Gillette Fatboy for the shaves. Take care.

It is getting close to that time of year when the Darkfall will become a staple for my Monday morning shaves. This morning the missus commented that she liked the scent. Usually, whenever I use Darkfall, she has already left for work.

Fantastic three pass shave with the MMBT. Awesome smoothness every time I use the Micromatics.

Enjoying a lovely afternoon in a friends pool in St James. Tomorrow’s agenda will be the NY Aquarium in Coney Island. Anthony is having a nice summer

I am now down to 11 soaps, excluding samples, Tabac and shave creams in a tube.
They are:

The Shaving Den (3 pucks, Irish Spring, Barbershop and Orange),

Cella is approximately 2/3 full and my Music City Suds Lavender is about 55% full. The rest are hardly used with the exception of the new Music City Suds Lavender.
As you can see, my inventory is modest in number and scents. It's OK because I still don't need to purchase any more soaps until late 2025.
