Titanic and 3017...?

I was very lucky in that he used me as a ‘test’ for some of his designs and plating trials. I have 3 of his aluminum brushes (my son has commandeered one of them) and he replated 4 of my razors, two in gold. He has a fair number of my turnings in partial return as well.
My recollection of his talking of spending more time with his kids mirrors Clint’s as well.

Decided to reach for the New Deluxe, which I acquired from Gary several years ago now. Evan expertly replated it in Gold for me. It is a little rougher, imho, than the other NEWs I own, but still a nice shaver.
The soap focus? Still rolling along.

Happy Friday!! Now that I have done some serious den clearing, I have been making an effort to use some razors I have been neglecting. Accordingly, I have pulled out a couple of Wolfman razors for a run. This shave was more efficient than I recalled. It looks like the soap will be done within the next 7-10 days. Raise your hand if you don't like Clubman. I realize this is a small sample size of ladies. I could only assemble 25,000 of them on short-notice.

Still shaving, but since I am not currently 3017'ing a product, I'll just be a lurker. Virtual "attaboys" to the truly "committed".

3.5 oz including tub. I will weight it once a week to see how much I am using.

Some people just "clean" brushes-you go the full route-(HAAAAAH, long lng breath).

 

i used a polishing kit with many ultrafine grits of paper before i set the knot.

 

Wow...an entire KIT just for s brush . Course we know how important the brush is to the shave.

 

I use this set for finishing resin brushes on the lathe. I used a few of the coarser ones when refurbishing a Rubberset 400 as well.
