Thank you Joseph. It’s a WRH2 handle. The handle is a heavy beast.

You will get there more quickly than you think. At least it’s a great soap.

I’m down to under 10 grams. The soap has broken up into pieces so I’m going to mash it up into the swirl pattern of my lathering bowl.

Happy Saturday everyone. I was up and moving early this morning. After a wonderful shave Swati, Greyson and I went to the Swannee Farmer's Market. We had a great time walking through the market. I hope that you guys have a great day.

Turns out, I am not a very good "lurker".
Next 3017 is this lovely soap from Manuel.
I had given it to my son-in-law, but it has sat unused on his shave shelf for the last two years.
He prefers Stirling Barbershop and Fine Lavender, so...I appropriated it back.
It has, unfortunately, begun the granulation process, but luckily, it had no effect on the lather.
The scent is a cross between sweet
tobacco and chocolate---a "latte", if you will.

The ASB will also be used as often as possible.
I am eschewing counting the days, opting to just "titanic" this soap with gusto.
    And....we're off!

Way to go Joseph. I was not surprised you came back so quickly. I’m an surprised you picked a granulated soap.

That, or one of their cousins. Trinidad scorpion, or Carolina reaper?

I know ghost peppers but not these ones…had to go look them up.

Yeah. Ghost pepper was the hottest in the world for a while. Then Trinidad scorpion took the title, briefly. Then it was bested by the Carolina reaper. I don't know if anything else has come along since. But at that level, you're kinda splitting hairs anyway.

And sorry I've been neglecting to post anything lately. My days off seem to be busier than work days right now.

    Not that I'm complaing.

Today was an abbreviated two pass shave with the Turkish whatever-it-is. Had to hurry out the door for granddaughter's birthday party. She's 4 tomorrow!

Great news, Joseph! It wasn't the same around here without you!

Manuel makes some very nice soaps, BTW. Granules notwithstanding, this should be a very enjoyable 3017.

So I have selected the next target, TOBS Luxury shaving cream.

But the new 3017 will have to wait a week, I am leaving for Phuket tomorrow. Since mosquitos are an issue there I am going with Arko, so need to bring the Off.
