    The Proraso Sandalwood Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #444 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Jr. Bar Lather Catcher Razor and a Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Pinaud Citrus Musk EDC. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Btw I love your avatar! I can tell you trust the squirrels in my backyard have really keen eyesight. As soon as a spec of food falls out of our bird feeders they’re on it in a flash!

    Here my Sunday Shave (20.008.2023)

    Pre: PAA Cube // Razor: Merkur 34c // Blade: Gillette yellow // Soap: PAA Diver Down // Brush: Shavemac + AP Shave Co G5C 24mm // Aftershave: Ralon

    What a great shave this was. The Merkur 34c was my first quality razor that i bought back in the days when i startet the „classic“ wetshaving in 2011. I do not use him as much as i should do…especially after this shave he will get more attention in the future.

    I never thought that he can deliver like this…wow…in combination with the yellow Gillette the razor is right up in the alley with the big dogs…and he is barking like one. Extremely smooth, gentle and damn thoroughly i had a fantastic 2,5 pass shave. The brush whipped up a great lather which smelled really nice. So it was very easy for the razor to shine like it did. It was amazing.

    At least i slapped on some of that wonderful Ralon which is produced in Croatia. The Ralon is based on the „Original Version“ of the Swiss Pitralon these days. The Original recipe is dated from 1927 as far as i am informed. It smelles more leathery, more campherous, more medical. Just more intense. I love this stuff. Not that I would not love the Swiss Pitralon but scent AND skincare are a just a little better here. But just a wee bit.

    I had a blast so the shave deserves nothing less than a 10 out of 10

    This morning(Sun)I had the same arsenal as yesterday, BUT...

    brush-Crown King Duro Spindle Tali

    and what a shave it was! clean and clear everywhere except I should have done a little better st Central Cactus Nation(neck). Zeroes across the board on cuts, Knicks, Polka-Dots. I also missed a tiny bit on the right sideburn(usual area of doom, but I'll leave the rest til tomorrow). Again the aftershave hit me like a glacier falling on my face. Good feel, but I wouldn't use same A.S. around Christmas time. No Halston today. Super Duper Outstanding.
