Razor : Razorock Game changer.84 with a RR radio knob handle- Mfg 2018>, mid range, I find this a tame mid range but RR claims it is a Mid range. There is some minor blade feel with a regular Gillette Astra SP so I have resorted to using a Kai SS extra wide blade when using this razor and my shaves are almost perfect the way I enjoy them. The GC.84 is well built and has excellent machining accuracy + finish has a decent polish for excellent QC I found with all my Razorock 316SS razors. My shave this morning was excellent with no issues.
Blade : Kai SS extra wide(9) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity. Great blade for a slight boost in blade feel and efficentcy I have concluded after a few years using this blade. KAI SS blade is superior to any shimming a person does for more aggression wanted by operator.

Soap : TOBS Herbal sandalwood, nice unique herbal scent that can be addictive to some folks with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi"Robin" 24mm boar bristle, excellent lather generator, soft split end boar bristles, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. A well broke in boar brush is very enjoyable to use for a different face feel and has been used for Century's by shavers + reasonably affordable IMO.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Proraso Red lotion with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers=Excellent shave with my RR GC.84 with a Kai SS extra wide blade. Cotton ball tested and it indicated (no snags on beard)what my fingers also felt a very comfortable close shave.

Early morning shave.

Like the Baili BD177 Rose Gold TTO & Kanzy K100 Chinese clone razors, the Baili BD 191 has a "closed head design" which gives extra protection from catching my ear lobes and under the nose when shaving something of which I like very much about all three razors.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Cien Sensitive ASB.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine.

Here my belated Wednesday Shave (23.08.2023)


Razor: RazoRock Lupo .95 SS // Blade: Gillette Bleue Extra (10) // Soap: MSC Cherry Freeze // Brush: RazoRock 400 // Aftershave: Tea Tree Oil Balm

The 10th shave was the last shave of this blade. With and across the grain the shave was ok, but against the grain it was not that comfortable. I had 2 little bloodspots on my neck. But nevertheless the blade gave me 9 really good shaves.

MSC Cherry Freeze…very very nice. Cherry and Menthol are a nice combo. Lather was thick, slick and cushiony. The Lupo had no problems gliding through the whiskers.

The Tee Tree Oil Balm smells like Tea Tree Oil. If you like that scent (as i do) you are fine with it, if not, the scent will only last 5 minutes or so. After a short time the scent disappears and you can use your favorite Cologne or whatever. Skincare is fantastic.

I would rate the shave with a 9 out of 10.

A true Grand Freeze this morning - this Glacial MITA has around three times the amount of menthol than the regular version, the scent is the same delightful citrusy/tropical type, the beef tallow formula promotes magnificent lather with the typical awesome Stirling slickness, the menthol sensation hits like a ton of bricks, and the skincare is so soothing as well as comfortable. The Prep and the Rubby Dubby Doo provided tons of extra moisturizing and icy cold menthol goodness. Finally the heavenly Bleu de Chanel fragrance and I’m good to go play a couple of rounds of golf with my brother-in-law - ohhhhhh, I’m going to make him bad. Three passes gave me a super duper BBS shave that was so pleasurable!
