The PSC Caffeinated Shave Cream lathered well with Jayaruh #445 Synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply SE Injector Razor and a Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then PSC Caffeinated AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

SOTD, Thursday, August 24th 2023

Razor : Razorock 2nd Generation Lupo.72- Mfg 2021>, mid range. Excellent machining and finish QC with excellent design. Very easy razor to work under the nose area and beard lines. I find this razor works well and ticks all the boxes for my ideal razor and usually receive stellar comfortable close shaves with no issues like this morning shave.
Blade : (P&G or Gillette) Perma sharp(4) sharp and smooth with great longevity. Very good blade IMO.
Soap : Ogallala Bayrum Sage & Cedarwood, nice Bayrum scent with excellent lather qualities. I find it works well when applying to a wet face instead of applying to drier face.
Brush : Yaqi"Artic sky" 24mm 3band silvertip badger, excellent lather generator, heavenly luxury pillow soft tips, gentle scrubber + excellent painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel soap residual cleanse +Ogallala Bayrum Sandalwood AS lotion + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent stellar comfortable close shave with my Lupo.72 + a Perma Sharp blade.

I put 2 razors in the picture because of yesterdays not so good shave but wanted to try the injector again. The Star was on standby but wasn't needed as the injector shave went well. Not BBS but DFS. The vintage Seaforth is a gem, great lather easily made with the Plisson synthetic. Love both of those. Now go enjoy your day folks.

My dear brother Fernando in Johannesburg, South Africa is really a soap and aftershave genius - his Frosted Spearmint is a prime example. The scent is so beautiful - the soap’s tallow formula is so similar to Stirling, it has amazing lather that whips up so easily, it’s thicker than hell, so rich, mega slick as well as protective, there’s a good menthol dose to it, and the postshave feeling is so comfortable. The Prep always gives me lots of cooling, soothing moisturizing postshave care, and the Frosted Spearmint aftershave is another menthol atom bomb with the same delightful scent as the soap. Two years ago when I was in Greece a dear friend of mine who was my neighbour when I was living there gave me the Acqua di Selva cologne which has such a beautiful old school scent that I really love - it pairs very well with this soap and aftershave. Three passes gave me an awesome BBS shave that I enjoyed from start to finish!
