That's a cool looking razor, Clint! What does it use for blades?

If you get the Boss slot, does that mean your wife would be working for her husband? I think you said you two work together now(?).

Thanks guys! Great to see all of you! And, Charlie, those titles are coincidentally how the butler announces me when I arrive at Mar-a-Lago every Thursday night. (Thursday is poker night.)

In actual shaving news, and in keeping with the theme of the 3017 thread, I will say I have changed my lathering techniques since last hanging out here. I now use what we used to call affectionately the “super goop method“ building the lather on top of the soap puck itself. It always ensures a great lather, and uses more soap, so that I may stand a chance to retire most of my soaps within my remaining life span.

Sounds like my "fast 'n loose" lathering technique. Note to self, check with my copyright lawyer.

No Paul, she will always be the boss. Though we both work for the same organization we work in different departments. If I get the position I will be head of my department. Consequently though, she is also in the running for a management position in her department. So I guess we would both be bosses.

The girls are great, Paul. Thanks for asking. MacKenzie is a sophomore in high school, doing well in Honors classes. Katie is an 8th grader and a “flyer” on the cheerleading team (the one doing stunts up above the others who hold her up). We are very blessed, and very proud of them both.

Happy Monday. This weekend is certainly not long enough. I will finish up the month with DE razors before starting SE September. The Ethos soap is very good. I do prefer the scent of Mike's Bay Rum. Even though this is the F base, it is not triple milled and will certainly be done more quickly. I did add some B&M Terrorade to the aftershave for a nice face freeze. I hope everyone has a great day.

Sadly, I Edmunded my 2 ML of Eight&Bob cologne. I thought it might last me a couple more shaves, but NEAUPE. And I don't have the funds to get a full bottle of it.

Not shaving on the weekend has become the norm for me. It's extra satisfying come Monday morning to remove the extra weekend stubble.

Hi Andrew, good to hear from you, time flies, the boys are already in school. Good luck on the promotion.

Hi Randy, good to hear from you too. It feels like we are getting the band back together.... albeit at a slower pace thread.

I returned late last night from Phuket, back in the office now.

Here is the simple kit I used on vacation. Say what you will about Arko, the performance is excellent and I did not get a single mosquito bite.
