Dscosmetics AX-SE Zinc (1.15mm plate) razor with stainless steel handle.
    Astra SP blade.
    Yagi 24mm synthetic brush.
Lakewood Soap Company Smokeberry shave soap.
    Timeless Razor shave bowl.
Scottish Antique by Andy Hilfiger cologne.

This razor came in yesterday and blew me out of the water. The razor head is Zinc but the fit and finish is amazing. The razor comes with three base plates..... 1.15, 1.35 and 1.55 mm gaps. You can choose scolloped or a smooth cap and your choice of several stainless steel handles. The best part is the price....right under $20.00.

This razor shaves well above its price point. It reminds me of the Yaqi Sentinel which is stainless steel and the shaves are close.

Three very nice passes. I'll try the 1.35mm plate out in the morning.

    Take care everyone!

    Good afternoon.

Gillette Wilkinson Sword DE Blade (4)

I was planning on using my Wosty near wedge, but I decided to use this Joe Elliot that was given to me by a friend outside the wetshaving community. He passed away in June so I thought I remember him by using this razor. It was given to me about 3 and a half to 4 yrs ago. It was a work-in-progress razor because it had a deep chip and I had to breadwinner it on my bevel film to get it out. It also had some severe rust and did the best I could to remove it. A few years against, I did hone it and it shaved ok, but it wasn't super sharp. Today, I shined it up as best I could and stropped it on my pasted side and then on the leather.
My Semogue brush did a fine job lathering this soap. However, I am not surprised because the soap is quite easy to lather. Here is today's lather:

I did 3 passes on my face, but I needed to use the R102 to cleanup my neck because my straight wasn't sharp enough. I had to do some buffing to get my cheeks smooth. So I got a BBS shave with an assist from the R102.
The only needed 2 passes and pickups for my headshave with the R102 for a cue ball smooth dome. I did get some alum feedback on my neck and back of the head, but it wasn't intense. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave to end this nice session. Take care.

Razor: Andrey Shpakovskiy 8/8 Half+ “Hanabira” Kamosori
Brush: MrEE Limited Edition #017 Cashmere 24 mm
    Lather: Lather Bros. Calle Ocho
    Aftershave: Sailor Jerry Spiced Navy
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

The A.S. kamosori came up in the rotation this morning. Another fabulous shave with this razor. This was the 16th shave with the razor. I would comfortably say I have it dialed in. Three passes to super smoothness.

Another fine lather with the Calle Ocho. I had enough for a 4th pass if I had so desired.

Hope you all had a great day gentlemen.

Superb lather and nice shave. Guess the razor needs to go to the films.
