    Greetings,

    Face & Head shave,

    The grated Palmolive shaving soap was the star of the shave this morning....It doesn't matter which way I use the humble Palmolive classic shave stick , it never fails to provide me with a super protective slick lather leaving a good post shave feel. Superb stuff!.

    The efficient Katana & Euromax Platinum duo cut through my face & head stubble with effortless ease.

    Another enjoyable close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Wilko Men's Moisturiser.

    My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine. ;)

    Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen. :cool:

    Single Edge September 3 days growth

    Prep = usual with Proraso Blue top sensitive skin Tube Aloe Vit E
    Soap = Tabac, looking for a trusted soap to pair with the SE, it is Tuesday after all
    Brush = Omega Puro Setola bristle
    Bowl = White
    Razor = Eversharp Hydromagic black handle L-1
    Blade = Personna Injector PTFE day 1
    Passes = 3 + some tentative touchups
    Post = CWR, alum, CWR, Thayers, Tabac AS Balm, Tabac ASL
    Damage = fleeting weeper just under lower lip, but cleared on its own

    Comments = A bit hesitant using the SE again after a long lay-off
    Score = 9/10. Still some stubble left in Zone 8, but overall I can't complain

  14. Well, I'm gradually pulling myself back together after a nasty clumsy accident while showering yesterday. I stepped on a moist piece of paper(don't know how it got there), tripped, and ended up on my back outside the shower, with shave prep still on my face. It knocked down the curtain(my cleaning lady says se can bring me a new one next visit)and I busted a lens off my glasses. I have my spares on t0day-OK, but a different prescription. I went ahead with my shave, which turned out to be fine, but wasn't in the mood t0 write about it. . As for today, I had another fine shave. DURING it, Ihad 3 cuts all around South Porcupine, but the cold water rinse and Stoylin Coniferous A.S.(with Menthol)got rid of them thus I was OK AFTER it. They LOOKEd like cuts, anyway, but perhaps they can be better described as KNICKS, as there was no pain endured. Very Oustanding. As for the shower, I had a liner along with the curtain and was able to get that back up well enough to last until the cleaning lady brings the new curtain.

    good morning gents
    first shave with a Silver Star blade from Egypt.
    very nice shave,it presented well in this aristocrat ,which is a mild shaver
    smooth 2 passer in the usual manner,little left for pick ups.
    no irritation or other.
    we'll see how many shaves it lasts.feels as good as the kcg,
    but honestly,they all do at first..
    if it lasts the usual 3 shaves ,then it was worth the $11 bucks for the 100 pack.;)
    awesome.

  19. Thank you Gary. Y'know, I had the presence of mind to hold my hand behind my head so as to prevent any pain there. My back is OK-didn't get pain there. It was a "soft landing", but still I was upset.
