FWIW. When I open and smell the contents in that bottle of Old Spice, it smells exactly as I remember it. The Old Spice sold today no matter where it's made smells nothing like this. Opal content Smells like candy.

I'm drooling like a dog who hasn't eaten all day as my owner brings out a bowl of Alpo. Rhetorical ?: Why were Gillette's (an American company) nicest razors made and sold only in England?
Gillette England ran under it's own management and made it's own designs until the 1950s,then all was standardized with different advertising/models for non U.S markets.
I guess they were targetting the "tea and crumpets" crowd, while in the U.S. they were targetting the "hamburger and hot dogs" crowd.
