This answers another question I have not yet posted: does anyone lather without a brush? Have thought of just using my hands to lather up some creams, but would then have slippery hands for each pass, but since you planned on only 1 pass that answers that question. Of course I could learn to hold the razor with soapy hands.......Lol!

The SV OC is “almost” a single pass razor every time. I get more impressed with every shave!

Prep: Shower with Kirk’s Head To Toe soap
Lather: Bigelow
Brush: Synthetic
Razor: Open comb
Blade: Astra Green (5)
Post: Cool rinse and TSD Lime

2 passes with the second pass barely needed and a near BBS shave.

You would have to go back to the cream for every pass and that's not economical. I have not used creams, but I would use a synthetic brush to pick up the soap and either face or bowl lather. I find that it's easier to use a synthetic brush.

Excellent shave Troy. I am not impressed with the TSD products because the scents are so mild. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate it a 1.

Awesome shave this morning. The Sentinel open comb is an efficient beast. It is a lot like the solid bar with a touch of blade feel.

Fabulous Tobacco scented Tuesday morning shave. The Double Duck Goldedge came out to play delivering its standard exquisite shave. Three passes which is the norm has left my face super smooth.

The Calle Ocho continues its steady March towards a mid October date with the Edmund Fitzgerald.
