I guess that I'm on a Dovo kick. Brought out my Dovo Special today. Although I don't have any plans this evening, I went with the Stirling Tsuka set and put the EdT on hold. Here's my lather:



I did 3 passes plus a minor pickup on both my jaw hinges to get a drama free BBS shave.
The alum was silent so I know that it was an off the chart shave. Finished with my usual postshave routine. Take care.

Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Face & Head Lather.
Lather: Wilkinson Sword Shave Stick.
Razor: Muhle R89 - Wilkinson Sword Classic. (D1) (Face)
Razor: Gillette Guard. (D1) (Head)

Post:
Cold water Face & Head wash with brush squeezing's./ Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./ Alum Rub./Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./ Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Blue Stratos ASL. / Aloe Vera Gel./ Blue Stratos EdT.

(Face & Head Shave) (Shave Stick Week)

A new eclectic shave set up to start the Weekend...I decided to use my much loved Muhle R89/Wilkinson Sword Classic blade duo for my face shave which was a comfortable match.
The WS shave stick is a wonderful shave stick it's surprising how much of a good lather you get from this humble shave stick.

It's a such a shame that they have now been discontinued. I was lucky enough to get a spare before this happened which should hopefully keep me going for some time...Another great humble shaving product gone forever.

Another enjoyable close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Blue Stratos EdT to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

46 hours Late Afternoon Saturday shave

Prep = Cold Water Prep and shave, Proraso Pre shave
Cream = TOBS lime zest, not as slick as the Aloe Vera, nice refreshing scent
Brush = Simpson Chubby 2 Best Badger
Bowl = Timeless
Razor = SE Eversharp Hydromagic black handle L-1
Blade = Personna Injector PTFE (day 4)
Passes = 3 + tu
Technique = Tentative, despite 2 day growth and day 4 of this blade, still not comfortable for me and was not able to get as close as with my DE razors
Post = CWR, Alum, rinse, Thayers, Clubman Pinaud
Damage = None, but some left over stubble
Comments = Called Time Out because I need to be more careful with a SE than my DE’s. Prefer to keep some stubble rather than to lose some skin. Happy to have gotten to like the Simpsons Chubby 2, I like this now but it works best with cream/soft soap and lots of it! Will park this and the Eversharp for a while
