Y'know, in concert with that, I really do wish the American Int'l. Company(that now owns Clubman)would change the "1810" to "1830".Pinaud got the perfumery going when he was 20(in 1830), not from his crib(1810).

 

SE SOTD, Friday, September 15th 2023

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur chromed with a Yaqi Milano 316 SSP handle- Mfg 2021>, tame mid range. Simple blade clamping design + small head parts( I like to work over a washcloth). I find I get excellent shaves with this affordable razor head 95%> of the time.
Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Schick proline p30(4) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity for a 50mm AC blade.
Soap : Taylor of old Bond st(TOBS) herbal Sandalwood cream, nice herbal scented sandalwood 6-7/10 strength with excellent lather qualities. One of my favorite cream for scent, just a nice change up from my others.
Brush : Yaqi " Sagrada Familia"22 mm 2band badger, excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. Tiny handle but has a beautiful knot that works excellent for my lathering needs.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ogallala Bayrum & sandalwood + a dollop of Geo F Trumper Sandalwood skin food lotion.
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent comfortable close shave this morning with a Schick proline blade.

a fine TSD member was here a while back.he hand made a batch of brushes on a homebuilt lathe,and hand anodized them.truly magnificent pieces.i think he made around 30 in total,plus some other one offs.as far as i know Evan is alive and well but has a busy lifestyle.

Face & Head Lather.
Lather: Wilkinson Sword Shave Stick.
Razor: Muhle R89 - Wilkinson Sword Classic. (D1) (Face)
Razor: Gillette Guard. (D1) (Head)

Post:
Cold water Face & Head wash with brush squeezing's./ Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./ Alum Rub./Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./ Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Blue Stratos ASL. / Aloe Vera Gel./ Blue Stratos EdT.

(Face & Head Shave) (Shave Stick Week)

A new eclectic shave set up to start the Weekend...I decided to use my much loved Muhle R89/Wilkinson Sword Classic blade duo for my face shave which was a comfortable match.
The WS shave stick is a wonderful shave stick it's surprising how much of a good lather you get from this humble shave stick.

It's a such a shame that they have now been discontinued. I was lucky enough to get a spare before this happened which should hopefully keep me going for some time...Another great humble shaving product gone forever.

Another enjoyable close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Blue Stratos EdT to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.
