    A rare two pass shave this afternoon in the Southern Den. Arrived early this morning, 2 AM and up early for a fishing trip in the Gulf. No time for a morning shave.

    The Genco straight did such a wonderful job that I decided to forego the traditional third pass. Super smooth and close for a night out with the family.

    MrEE Tuxedo Brush
    Angora Soaps Midnight Lavender SS and AS
    Stirling Alum Block
    Modessa Witch Hazel
    Beard Growth: 30.5 hrs

    I decided to take my time with this shave just to enjoy this Lavender scent from Angora Soaps. The straight that I picked was the Ralf Aust and it really did an awesome job. I will get to that in a bit. This soap is very easy to lather and it is super slick. It can take on plenty of water. Did I say I love this scent. Lol! Here's my lather:

    I could have called this shave done after 1 pass because it was in between a DFS and BBS. This razor is very sharp and that's the reason why I could have been done in 1 pass. Did 2 more passes and it did result in an error-free BBS result.

    The alum was silent all around. Splashed on the witch hazel and there wasn't any burn from this alcohol-based matching aftershave. My conclusion is that the micro skin damage was very minimal because of the lack of alum and aftetshave feedback. Needless to say, I got a very nice shave. Take care.
