I decided to do a quick 2 pass shave with my Dovo. I am going out to a frag free venue so I chose the VdH Select Soap because it's very mildly scented, but it lathers easily with nice slickness. Although I used a shaving mug, I decided to load the brush and face lather so there isn't a lather photo.
I got an error-free, close comfortable shave. There wasn't any feedback from the alum block. Splashed on the Aqua Velva Ice Blue aftershave to finish this session. Take care.

Cool Fall morning here on LI. Five more shave to go with the Calle Ocho. The Edmund Fitzgerald is slowly rising from the depths to claim another soap tub.

Excellent three pass shave with the FA Clauberg straight. Super close and irritation free as per the alum report. Unfortunately, a deposit shave ten minute weeper decided to make an approach. It was easily dispatched with the old fashioned method of attaching a small piece of toilet paper on it for a few minutes.

I am patiently waiting for the oil service technician to arrive for the annual boiler cleaning and checkup.
