Septmeber 29, 2023 Rocnel Ti/SS Hybrid Gillette 7 O’Clock Black Paladin Antica Barbieria Colla Shaving Soap SV Felce Aromatica Friday at last. Thank goodness. I am convinced this soap is just as bad as I remembered. I am not going to keep trying to work with something I don’t enjoy so this one will become a bath soap. Apart from struggling with the soap, the shave was quick smooth and drama free. I can’t expect more than that. Take care and have a great day.
Great points on the soap…yes, no point shaving with substandard wares, no matter the investment. PS- stunning brush…if you’re into that sort of thing
Day 52 Yaqi Katana w Astra SP TGN Finest/ Maple Asylum/ SV Colonia SS & AS Thayers Early morning shave, mid evening post again. I pulled the Katana back from the brink of expulsion. I agree with Clint- it always feel like it is about to bite. It didn’t this time.

Septmeber 30, 2023 Rocnel Ti/SS Hybrid Gillette 7 O’Clock Black Zenith B29 Boar WSP Barbershop SV Felce Aromatica Happy Saturday. Having a good soap makes the shave so much better. I think I will stay with the WSP Barbershop until we start the Mike’s 3017. September 2023 Recap This month has been a very good month. I knocked out another soap and am on my way with a splash. Saturday, September 30 Santa Maria Novella~~SOC Taj Resin Boar~~H. Boker & Co. Hard to fathom September has come and gone... Great shaves this year and I also like the fact that I have knocked off some soaps. Remaining stash now due to be eliminated by 2099. This Eufros ASB, however, will not make it through October.
