    The Formula T is made with Tallow while the regular is not. Having used both I can not tell a difference.

    I wondered about the sound since the Leaf Twig is does not much sound at all.

    I got it at the local Piggly-Wiggly. Aisle 13, right next to the Clubman. Paul shops in that aisle, I believe.

    Happy Sunday and the start of Open Comb OCtober. As such I will try to use OC razors for most of my shaves this month. Another great shave with the WSP soap. Honestly I am not a real fan of the barbershop type scents. I am off to visit my Mom for the day and take her to lunch. Have a great day guys and take care.

    No wonder the regular was so hard to work with.

    The regular is very easy to work with Paul. WSP set out to recreate MdC with more skin care. As such the stuff is very easy to easy to lather. Once he had the vegan version where he wanted it to be, he developed the tallow version. If one were given a sample without disclosing which version you were using I don’t think many people could tell a difference lathering, shaving or post shave. I know I can’t even when I know which version I am using.

    Yeah, all that Chemistry talk....WSP itself is expensive anyway. Course I'm the guy who plunked down 60 George Washingtons for 2 Bill Neumann aftershaves w/free,shipping.

    Monday is here already. Weekends are entirely too short. At any rate Happy Monday. The mornings shave was pretty decent. I am having a bit of trouble finding and maintaining the correct angle with the BB OC. At least the razor lets me know when I am wrong. I am sure I will get everything sorted in the end. Take care and have a great day.

    Long weekend here. I love OC OCtober. It is probably my favourite monthly focus. Starting out with the Single Ring. It isn’t the smoothest shaver, but does the job well.

    @Primotenore :
    Forgot to mention, the glue dots on today’s PermaSharp were epic. Hard time getting the wrapper off, tbh…

    Hello 3017 Crew. I’ve been quietly working away at knocking off my current puck of Fine Accoutrements’ Snake Bite. This triple milled bad boy is relentlessly indomitable. My original estimate of end of SEptember was radically wrong. I now hope to take it down by late OCtober, early Novemboar.

    My mystery stick is now a mystery blob. Getting to small to keep using as a stick so I smashed it into a bowl. Normally I would just use a little water to "weld" it to the top of another stick. But this is a 3017, and I want to be able to declare it finished.

    Here it's about to be attacked by its Turkish cousin.

    Hands down my favorite brush. Dark bristles and all.

    Only one right way to fix those: bury 'em. :D

    So I could not finish this tub of TOBS in September as expected. That is OK because the scent is a classic British cologne and performance is acceptable. To kick off October I decided to pair the TOBS with Clubman, British gentleman meets Piggly Wiggly lothario. So much olfactory joy even my razor was smiling.

    A quality soap like the OG Fine makes a 3017 more than tolerable.
