Razor : Yaqi flipside dual safety bar(OC+SB)-Mfg 2019 >, mid + milder open comb side. I won this in Yaqi live raffle last year.
Well made and shaves very well, the scalloped safety bar side is a nice mid range with the open comb milder and great for working the chin area. Very affordable head and worth every penny IMO. Had a stellar close shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette silver blue(GSB) (2) sharp and smoooth with reasonable longevity. Top tier blade of 6 blades in my den.
Soap : Cyril R Salter Wild Rose cream, nice rose scent 5-6/10 with some of the best lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Bali" 24mm 3band silvertip badger. Excellent lather generator, luxury pillow like soft tips, nice gentle splay scrubber + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Witch hazel beard soap residual cleanse + Neiva ever refreshing splash+ a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Flipside dual SB with a GSB blade. (Very enjoyable shave with a free raffle razor and handle won in raffle, excellent shaving.)
