Actually, let me clarify that--whiskers that shouldn't be there because I missed them the first time.

As I mentioned yesterday, I brought out Artie to do today's shave. I picked the TSD Irish Spring SS because I am going to a fragrance free venue this evening and the scent will have been dissipated by the time that I arrive there. Here's my lather:

Did three error-free passes for a nice, comfortable and smooth shave. The alum feedback was negligible. Witch hazel and the matching aftershave were splashed on my face and neck to end this shave. I have to say the scent smells a little like Downey Fabric softener. It's in the same ballpark as Stirling Glastonbury, but much more subdued. Take care.

Razor: Drew Dick 7/8” Half Hollow Damascus
    Brush: Jack Skully
Lather: Ach. Brito Mogno (In Mug)
Aftershave: Derby City Chop Shop Small Batch Tonic- Winter Reserve
    Additional Care:
    Omega Alum
    Dickenson’s Original Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

First shave with the Ach. Brito Mogno. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by the lathering ability and performance of this soap. Yes, Barry, @palmolive fox, has frequently mentioned this soap with high praises I. His post.

I grated the bar of soap and pressed it into the mug. Usually, with soaps in the mug, I dampen a brush and load directly on the brush. Today, I decided to scape an almond size scoop of soap and press it into a bowl. Within a couple of minutes, with a few additions of drops of water, I had a nice lather.

A three pass shave with the Damascus straight had my face smmmothand irritation free. Unfortunately, three ten minute delay weepers made the appearance. Not a big deal, easily taken care of with a little extra aftershave.

Hope you all had an enjoyable day.
