October 16, 2023 Karve “D” OC Gillette Nacet Shavemac D01 Flat Top WSP Barbershop SV Felce Aromatica Happy Monday I guess. As I get older the weekends seem to get shorter and shorter. Another great shave this morning to start the day. The Karve is just a fantastic razor with enough different plate choices to satisfy pretty much anyone. Take care and have a great day.
Monday, October 16 AoS Unscented~~Simpson D3~~Cooper MonoBilt/Gillette Platinum~~St Johns Bay Rum While I didn't get a weeper, I did get a nick. Right on the left jawline. The Gillette Platinum blade is über-sharp.
I have a solution...it is about 5 years away for me. Then everyday will be a weekend... Agree 100%. My favourite modern DE, to be honest.
Day 64 Cooper MonoBilt w Astra SP (1) Omega Evo / Burl & Resin Asylum Colonia SS & AS Thayers OCtober is definitely my favourite shaving month focus. Switched to the MonoBilt this morning. What a fantastic shaver. @Primotenore , it doesn't need a super sharp blade, imho. An Astra green works just fine. Have a great evening all.
Hi all. Here's a profile shot of this tube of Dettol that I'm working on. I Should finish it in pretty short order.

@Keithmax, @Bama Samurai, and I just wrapped up our annual strategic planning session. The highlight of the trip, of course, was our visit to The Piggly Wiggly in Gurley, AL. We snagged some Piggly Wiggly t-shirts from their haberdashery aisle (the shirt rack was conveniently located next to their signature pork rinds and boiled peanuts), and we also cruised around town (aka the Gurley Tour). Yes, we are Gurley Men. @Paul Turner Gurley's only 16 hours away. It is definitely worth the trip.
We conducting our market comparison of Tabac, Clubman and the Veg. All were big hits so we could not declare a winner.
I'm sure you're right about that 16 hours, @wristwatchb. Course here in the east, it's 9 hours to go all the way down to D.C. from here. If you tried that in Texas, from the very eastern border, you'd still be in Texas. Glad you made it to a PW.
Day 65 Cooper MonoBilt w Astra SP (2) Omega Pro/ Resin Asylum Colonia Thayers Alt Innsbruck Have a great night all.
