Tuesday, October 17 AoS Unscented~~Simpson PJ2~~Cooper MonoBilt/Gillette Platinum In this photo homage to @clint64 I successfully performed a three-pass shave with the MonoBilt with ZERO mishaps. The razor demands the lightest of touches and a more shallow angle than I typically use. I normally don't subscribe to the "ride the cap", but in this case, it was very helpful.
Day 66 Cooper MonoBilt w Astra SP (3) APShave SynBad/ Poculi Asylum Colonia Thayers Shulton Old Spice Lime Managed to shave and post in the same morning… I’ve enjoyed my run with the Cooper. One of my favourites for sure. I agree with @Primotenore - it rewards ‘riding the cap’ as a starting point. I don’t find it anywhere near the Floating Head on the ‘doom is imminent’ scale.

A great shave with the iKon DLC OC this morning. I really think I have a chance finishing the soap before the end of the month. The splash should be finished tomorrow or Saturday at the latest.

October 20, 2023 ikon DLC OC Gillette Nacet Semogue Galahad C3 WSP Barbershop SV Felce Aromatica Happy Friday Everyone! @Primotenore I took another photo with you in mind. I even used one of your favorite bowls this morning. I have finished the SV Felce Aromatica splash. It is done and dusted. It was fantastic while it lasted but I happy it’s done and dusted. Using @Primotenore patented lathering method the soap is sinking at a rapid rate. I have used 53 grams of in the soap in the last 18 days leaving 32 grams remaining. At this rate, I think the soap will be gone near month end.
Congrats, Clint, on knocking out the SV splash! I may actually finish a tube of Proraso before the Mike's 3017 extravaganza begins. I have enjoyed using my Proraso in combination with cold water shaves. BTW, please don't give @Primotenore too much credit. Once he gets all puffed up, he can be somewhat difficult.
