This was my second set of software that I purchased at the Pasteur's meetup so I was excited to try it this morning. The scent is on the dark, masculine side so if you're looking for something sweet than this soap isn't for you. Surprisingly, I like this scent because it's slightly dark. I just don't like heavy dark scents. Anyway, Pedro Fiasco's Limoncello soap produces an easy slick, slick, and creamy lather. Here's my lather:

Three passes gave me an error-free BBS result. The alum was silent. The matching aftershave's scent was much more evident and I liked it very much. I am glad that bought this set and the Seaforth Sea Spice Lime set at the Pasteur's meetup because imo these soaps can be used anytime of the year. Take care.

Two fantastic SE shaves the past two mornings. Both the injector and the MMOC delivered exceptionally close and comfortable shave. The alum report for the injector was very slight while for the MMOC was nonexistent.

Each shave had my customary three passes as I just the process of being in Zen mode and do not want to rush its completion.

I am ready for my day which includes some home projects such as preparing to paint the trim in our small bathroom and my son’s soccer game later this afternoon.
    Have a great day gentlemen.

And thanks (I guess) to both of you for the reviews of the Seaforth and Pedro Fiasco's soaps and splashes. Always happy (sort of) to hear about new excellent products that I might be enabled into buying....
  11. Great shaves and pics, Joe! Enjoy the soccer game! (And the home projects too.)

  14. This morning's shave combination was a "one and done". Course I'll be back for more Mike's Natural soap in a few days though. For that matter, Agadir A.S., too. Mike's is like Williams to me-a "chunk" of soap that is centered in the jar so some will fall to the side as you work with it. It's my second go with this. Nice work along the cheeks&sideburns, N. Porcupine and Cactus. Should have done better at the chin. I'm coming closer to the day when I once again decide to leave the chin alone, as the balance of my cuts&Knicks happen there. I've seen guys with facial hair on the chin only, so I wouldn't be the first. Maybe I'll try it during (Bill)Neumann November. Nice splash of Agadir to finish me off. One more Oudtober week-end left. Pretty Outstanding.

  19. Thanks Gary. When I was at Pasteur's, I was going to get a TOBS Sandalwood Soap, but I am glad I purchased Seaforth Sea Spice Lime and Pedro Fiasco's Limoncello instead. Seaforth was definitely on my list to try and I remembered your recommendation to try the Limoncello. I was amazed at the inventory that Pasteur's has in stock. There were plenty of items that I never heard before. I was awestruck.
