The Colgate Shaving Mug Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #395 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette No Notch Aristocrat and Astra SP Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Granddad's Blend AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

thank you Chris it's a 3 inch Karve brass handle. the original handle is too light so i leave it in the case.

I decided to have a typical 1950's old- fashioned setup for this morning’s shave.
Had an errorless 3 pass BBS shave. I remember when I first got this razor a few years back and wasn't impressed with it. After awhile, the more I used it; the better I got with it. Practice does make perfect. I never get a bad shave with Cella.
Here's my lather:



The alum was silent. Finished with my usual postshave routine. I just love this Pinaud-Clubman Classic aftershave. I know that it's not for everyone, but it gives that old mid 50's vibe. Take care.
