If this setup doesn’t freeze your face off then nothing will - this Absolute Zero soap and aftershave toner as well as the Rubby Dubby Doo are three menthol atom bombs. The scent of this soap and aftershave toner is so nice - the best way to describe it would be aquatic with minty notes - the soap is vegan based like all of Abir’s soaps, it’s so easy to lather, within a couple of seconds the menthol sensation hits like a ton of frigid bricks, and the skincare is brilliant. The matching aftershave toner is so moisturizing as well as soothing, and it can freeze your face to smithereens, the Rubby Dubby Doo is another bone chiller, and there’s no other fragrance as beautiful as the Bleu de Chanel - at least not to me. Three glorious passes gave me a dynamite BBS shave that was so much fun!

The Derby Shave Soap Stick lathered well with the Jayaruh #2 Badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gem Flying Wing and Personna GEM SS PTFE Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Dickinson's Witch Hazel and then Lilac Vegetal. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I switched blades halfway through. The Shark was far superior.

SE SOTD, Friday, October 27th 2023

Razor : Yaqi Excalibur SE 50mm AC with a Yaqi Milano 316 SSP handle- Mfg 2021>,mild to tame mid range. Very enjoyable razor head with Small head parts to make it very nimble. Very affordable and is one of my regular weekly razors that meets my enjoyment standard from a large collection of fine razors. Had a comfortable close shave this morning.
Blade : Schick proline p30 (4) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Proraso Green mentholated Eucalyptus, nice scent slightly cooling with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Ever Helpful" 22mm 2band badger. Excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, firm splay scrubber because of short loft and hair density + great lather painter. This little brush is designed for folks who enjoy the scrub but offers nice softer tips IMO.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Proraso green eucalyptus mentholated with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable stellar shave this morning with my Yaqi Excalibur SE AC 50 mm with a coated Schick proline blade.

Your brush sounds like something that would appeal to me. I have one Badger (Simpson X3) it’s soft but very floppy.
I prefer the backbone that my Omega Boar has. Just wondering how your brush compares to others in terms of backbone.
