Thursday, October 26 AoS Unscented~~Vie-Long Beehive~~Feather DX/Professional I think you can get an idea how much soap is remaining. Don't know the actual weight. Moving slowly as we reach the final stretch. The DX is a nice tool. Easy to wield and with the right blade---formidable. No mishaps with today's shave. Steadily working through the AoS Balm. Full speed ahead.
Day 72 Karve OC ‘C’ w PermaSharp (2) Omega Pro/ Resin Asylum Colonia SS & AS Thayers Such a great razor. Perhaps not as smooth as its safety bar cousin, but still a quality tool. I’m trying to finish the splash at about the same time, I will need to use it somewhat regularly this next week or so. Have a great evening all.
I have a small Culmak and it is the nicest knot of all the brushes I own. I am inspired by users so I it will make an appearance.
I am back to work on the tub of TOBS, it is lasting way longer than expected. I am getting near the bottom but the scooping strategy means still no donut of death. The razor and brush line up for this week: This week was boar week. Hidden behind the tub of TOBS is the iconic Omega Pro, and next to it is a Zenith boar, Heritage Collection, and my Jason Boar . Going round the circle the razors were a Fili 13, Snail Forge, 2013 R41 and a Mastro Livi. I usually don't put my aftershaves in the picture of my stanks because I usually use something neutral. In the summer I usually use Proraso but when the weather turns chilly Small Batch Shave Tonic Winter Reserve is my go-to A/S

Saturday, October 28 AoS Unscented~~SOC Boar~~Gillette New LC/Gillette Platinum~~Dehn Al Oodh Malaki Yesterday, I performed a very rare head-shave. Not because I think it's cool, but I have to apply a medicinal cream to my head, and even though I am folicularly challenged, it's annoying, so I shaved my head with my Feather AS-D2. My scalp didn't like it and I am washing my pillowcase as I type. Today was a traditional shave and was infinitely more successful. Excellante Jubilatis lather from the Art of Shaving cream. The Gillette New LC is a nice tool and one with which I enjoy shaving, Silky smooth in three. Stank is a one-dimensional Oud by Swiss Arabian. If you enjoy Oud, this is a winner. Layers well with other scents, too.
