Ok, friends. I am starting the thread, but personally have no intention of partaking.
Feel free to post and express your feelings regarding No Buys. Me? I have failed too many times to make further attempts. :rolleyes005:

I'll just crank up whatever purchases I need by end of 23, so I can put the plan into action. Thankfully, don't need much.

I can't do no buys because I will always replace my drugstore aftershaves like Old Spice, Pinaud-Clubman and Aqua Velva.

Tossing all social norms aside, I reserve the right to buy shaving goodies throughout 2024 in large quantities, on impulse, and with reckless abandon.

Not sure, but I think this still qualifies as a NB under rules section 3(d)(ii), Appendix 7.

Do I still qualify for a free shave soap and aftershave splash, @Primotenore?

I have always avoided NB like the plague but, the 3017 thread enligntened me... I have way to many soaps. Also I have big bottles of Proraso and Clubman aftershaves so I am good. The only one I worry about is my Small Batch Shave Tonic, my fav winter AS. I just started this bottle so it should be good through next Dec.

You bring up a good point, Keith. I have been very good about new purchases, having bought only one stank in 2023. I do run out of witch hazel regularly--which I could purchase before the end of 2023, I might be able to sustain a 366 day no buy...:signs002:

I'm in. I got more than enough (i.e.,too much) of literally everything I need for shaving and general hygienic upkeep.

Well, I don’t need anything. If I was ever going to NB for an entire Gregorian, ‘24 would be the one. The monkey wrench on my back is the anticipated revision of the Blackland Sabre. That could be the straw that ruptures my herniated L1.

The NB is being taken under advisement.

Let me say I would not disagree to that negatory.

Appendix 8 says it's OK to buy razors at a local drug store....course they run out fast(mine do, anyway).

My "rule" has always been 'No on-line purchases". I kinda need razors from time to time. I don't mean to treat a CVS like a Pasteur's Pharmacy.

Say, Charli,e unrelated to NB 24, I just heard a sportscaster prounounce Loueeeeville just like that. Does "Louahvle" apply to just the Cardinals?
