  4. Thanks for the update on Jeff Joe..He will be sadly missed, but not forgotten. Jeff introduced me to Injector razors which I'm eternally grateful for. I also wish him well, he is a true yankee doodle gentleman.

    Greetings,

    (Face & Head Shave)

New Shave set up to start the weekend...the Proraso Blue cream which I haven't used for a while created a nice creamy slick protective lather with only a small amount in a short space of time. The residual slickness from this cream is excellent leaving a superb post-shave from the addition of the aloe vera and vitamin E making my mature rhino skin feeling soft & moisturized. Ideal for the Autumn/Winter elements.

An enjoyable comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off a with a generous splash of Brut Attraction Totale ASL.

My face & precious swede are both feeling smooth and smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

  6. I may shave later today. With my beard, I can go 3 days before shaving. I still use a different razor every shave. Most blades I use twice and bin now (I have SO MANY!)
I am still working on using all the soaps I bought in the last year. I have adopted several methods of shaving. Sometimes I use a pre-shave and lather in a bowl while other times I simply lather right on my face with no pre-shave cream.
3-passes is the norm now. I rarely nick myself anymore too!

On another note, I just paid off my car 2 years early! I am almost completely out of debt!

And, Theo is almost in full winter coat! SUPER fluffy!

  7. Good to see you making an appearance Gary..Great news that you are completely out of debt!..I'm mortgage free myself now! which is a great weight off my mind, as i only work three day a week, due to cut backs at the mill. Give the adorable Theodore a stroke for me. Take care of yourself & Theodore. Yours-Barry.

  8. Yes, it sure is nice. My home and 20 acres of land is paid off as well. All I have left is the zero-turn mower I got and the snow blower for the tractor. I will have them done in the next year. Car is a 2017 and only has 35,000 miles on it so, it should last a while.

  12. Hey Hogie! It's great to hear from you. Congratulations on your financial status. Glad to see Theo looking well. I miss your trips to your Italian restaurant and regaling about your adventures chatting with your favorite server. Don't be a stranger.

  13. Glad to see that you had a very nice shave Paul. I have a request of you since I tend to lean towards the Visual modality.

I am aware that for whatever reason you have chosen not to put up pictures of your shaves despite some good natured ribbing as well as encouragement. Therefore to possibly help myself as well as others that tend to be visual I am offering you a template to list the items of your shave so that at least in our minds eye when can get the make up of your shaves.

    Here is the template:

    Rating:

    Razor:
    Brush:
    Lather:
    Aftershave:
    Additional Care:

I hope my suggestion is acceptable to you.
  14. Welcome back and congratulations on the payoff. I still have two young teens in the house and am so far away from no debt that it’s nice to see some motivational posts about it.

Enjoy (and post) your shaves and have a great day

  17. Looking good and love the old school Brut. I regularly rotate in Old Spice, which I have used since I first discovered girls in the 1970’s

  18. Absolutely, and I will have notes ready on theoretical physics.

I may be down sometime over the holiday season so I’m putting it on you to make sure the gorgeous waitress is there as well ;)

  19. It isn't a choice........I just don't have the ability or patience to do it. And I sort of do your idea anyway, right?
