These Derby blades are fantastic for the most part, I must say. They’re very sharp and they have good longevity which is important because of my tough beard stubble. I enjoy the Vintage Spice soap and aftershave so much - my dear brother Fernando created these treasures. The soap’s tallow formula promotes such awesome lather that’s so slick and protective, the scent is so gorgeous - it’s a perfect substitute for the Shulton Old Spice, and the skincare is superb. The Proraso Blue balm gives lots of moisturizing as well as soothing, and the Vintage Spice aftershave went on with no burning or stinging along with its delightful Shulton Old Spice scent that I love so much. What a magnificent three pass BBS shave this was - so enjoyable!

The START Shaving Cream lathered well with the Jayaruh #41 two-band badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Russian Rocket 5/8 straight gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Hendrick's Witch Hazel and then Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Razor : Yaqi TFC adjustable.- Mfg 2021>, all ranges. Interesting design that is similar to the Gibbs 1930's design but does not use proprietary blades like the Gibbs did. The razor is mostly blade exposure forward and is able to pick up low lying flat hairs with their scallop Safety bar design. Had a close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Gillette 7 oClock SP(3) sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Ach Brito Lavanda cream, nice mild bright lavender with a touch of mint scent to my nose with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "Lucky Casino's" 26mm Timber wolf synthetic. Excellent lather generator, heavenly, luxury, cloud like soft tips + excellent lather painter.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 2 tiny chin weepers= excellent shave with my Yaqi TFC adjustable with a Gillette 7 oClock SP blade.
