I went back into the thread to look up your posted SOTDs. While it appears at times you may mention the software, soap, goop and aftershave you fail to mention the type of razor and brush.
It is not to much to ask for you to be a bit more specific. Especially with the razor as I can not fathom how you manage to cut yourself so much. Cartridges tend to be fool proof.

Another great shave this morning! I was a bit rushed, so decided to skip the pre shave shower. That is usually a problem for me, but not this time.

The combo of the Feather blade in my SS and the TOBS soap was more than up to the challenge. Smooth shave with zero irritation.

I was so exited about this soap when it arrived last night. I had previously tried the TOBS Jermyn Street years ago. Loved the lather, but the scent was too strong. Like getting hit with a fougere sledge hammer! I still have the aftershave and use it very sparingly, and very occasionally. The grapefruit was nothing short of wonderful, and the Quinns WH was the perfect finish.

Since I’m not shaving again until Friday, this shave closes out my November Focus. It was very fun and successful, so thanks to all of you for the comments and encouragement!

I’m going to order 100 Feather blades this week.

Next month I will be trying an assortment of new blades that I did not get around to in my beginner phase years ago. Will also do my best to stay within the theme, whatever it happens to be.

    Have a great day everyone!

Watch for my next shave description. You'll see my razor type and name of brush, as I've always done.

Last night I brought out the Russian Leather(TSD Store) aftershave to replace Yardley. Quite warmer in feel, that's a fsct. Fine shave all around-No cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. One pass. Back to more soaps, beginning tomorrow.

    VERY nice Gary!

Are you a shave stick aficionado? If so, would love to hear your thoughts (or anybody else's) on them. I currently use an Arko stick for travel, but it dries my face a bit in the wintertime. I'm pondering trying a few of the other available ones...

thank you Scott.not a stick soap fan really, hence 3 sticks grated/pressed into the bowl.i also did it to use them up.the 3 combined do make a great lather, very slick.no post shave benefits really as that wasn't in their design originally.there were post shave products for that..;):eatdrink047:
