Razor : Yaqi Excalibur SE AC type with a Milano SSP handle- Mfg 2021>, tame mid range. Simple clamping system + small head parts (I assemble on wash cloth, a lot easier!) I have used this affordable razor head for the last 2 years and it performs well + 95%> of my shaves are close and comfortable. I have been experimenting with my Excalibur razor and my newest Romulus razor for peak performance. Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning.
Blade : Schick proline P30 (2), sharp and smooth with reasonable longevity.
Soap : Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore, nice vanilla light tobacco scent with excellent lather qualities.
Brush : Yaqi "coat tails"24 mm G5 synthetic. Excellent lather generator, cloud like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + excellent lather painter. Closest synthetic feel to a 2 or 3 band badger I own.
Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave : Santa Maria del Fiore with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless).
Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a stellar close comfortable shave this morning with my Yaqi Excalibur AC type 50 mm razor with a Schick proline blade. Excellent shave this Sunday morning.

Lovely shave. The razor is so gentle and smooth. 2,5 very joyful passes to get BBS. No stinging from the Aftershave at all, so clearly a 10 out of 10

The Eskimo Tuxedo Shave Soap lathered well with the Jayaruh #447 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Supply SE Injectorr and a Supply Black Label Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and then Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

My dear brother Jaco in Pretoria, South Africa is another soap master - he makes two versions of this Cool as a Cucumber soap. The X 3 is so intensely mentholated that it easily competes with any of the Stirling Glacials, it’s glycerine based and it closely resembles the Yeti Snot soap but it smells so much nicer and does it ever give thick, rich, super slick lather with so little effort, the menthol sensation can chase a polar bear out of the Arctic, and the postshave feeling is very comfortable - completely unlike the Yeti Snot which left my skin a bit dry and irritated. The Prep moisturized and soothed my skin beautifully while the Floid Vigoroso aftershave went on icy cold along with its gorgeous old school barbershop scent that I love so much. Three passes gave me a fabulous BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

Wanted this to be my shave of the week but it's not what I thought/want. Very smooth razor/blade combo but ineffective for me so I'll change tomorrow. Probably use the same soap/brush combo cuz those worked nice together. It is what it is for today. We'll go again tomorrow. Now go enjoy your day folks.
