I'm right with you on Pinaud's Lilac Vegetal(course it's perhaps a little unfair, as I have yet to USE it, but I just can't see myself doing so)but I would add their By Rum to that list.

I find that you get a good whiff of the scent when I prep my beard with the bloom water. It just sets the tons for the shave.

I was due for a head and face shave so I brought out the Rockwell 6C. This was my first expensive safety razor when I only started wetshaving just over 5 years ago. It really is a very good headshaver for me on setting 4. I loaded a brand new blade for this session. I am tutoring tonight so I picked the Cella for its slick lather and the AV Ice Blue because the scent doesn't last. I forgot that I had this bowl. It's deep and it easily fits in my hand so it compensates for its narrow width. Here's my lather:



Did 3 passes on my face and dome for an error-free BBS result. The alum feedback was slight on my neck and nada everywhere else. Splashed on the witch hazel and the aftershave to finish this session. I might aff that there wasn't any burn from the AV Ice Blue. Take care.

Thanks Scott. It would have been more so if I used my 1959 Fatboy and my Omega Pro 49 Boar. I think that I will do that on my next dual shave 3 days from now.

Superb shave with the Flare Tip SS. The lather provided an excellent cushion for the blade to do its job. Again, I expect nothing less from Declaration Grooming. Tomorrow’s shave will feature another DG shave- After the Rain.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Omega 10077.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Cella Crema Da Barba.
Blade: Gillette Wilkinson Sword. (1)
Razor: King C. Gillette.

Post:
Cold water Face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/ Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./ Alum Rub./Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel/Nivea Men Replenishing PSB./Denim Original ASL.

First combined face & head shave using the king C. Gillette which after the first few strokes on my head I found my shaving angle and felt comfortable to carry on...After my combined xtg/atg + pick up passes my head felt smooth with no feeling of irritation or any signs of blood running down my precious swede. I will do the same with the WS Sword Premium TTO in my next weeks head shaves for comparison.

The Cella shave cream provided me with an excellent lather its such a wonderful performer with it's cherry almond fragrance.

An enjoyable close face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Denim Original ASL.

My face is feeling cool smooth, & smelling divine.
