DE SOTD, December 2 2023 Razor : Gillette British HD Rocket Super speed- Mfg 1950's, milder range. Well built and designed super speed and gives a decent shave. Great milder razor for those who are in a hurry to get out the door to go to work. Had a close comfortable shave this morning. Blade : Polsilver SI(5) sharp and smooth with excellent longevity. Soap : Ogallala Bayrum with sandalwood, nice Bayrum with some clove with great lather qualities. Brush : Yaqi "Mountain lake" 24mm 2band badger. Excellent lather generator, pillow like soft tips, nice splay scrubber + great lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave :Witch hazel + Ogallala Bayrum and Sandalwood + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results : or CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Had a close comfortable shave this morning with my Gillette British variant HD Rocket with a Polsilver. Have some great shaves!
