For this morning I made one change from yesterday, which was

    Brush-Jayaruh #59

Wonderful shave. Clean and clear across the board(face and neck lol). Zero cuts, Knicks, Polka-dots. I missed the usual headache area for me-right side, just below the ear, but after breakfast I cleaned it up. Will be careful there tomorrow. I'm going to compare Stoylin Spice A.S. to that of P&G "New" Spice(my quotes). I bet a lot of you have already. Super Duper Outstanding for the shave.

    Thanks, Gary.

Yes, I have an almost unused tub of TOBS lavender shave cream that dried out to a medium croap - and lost about 2/3 of its volume. The Fraser's by contrast has dried out to a sort of rubbery surface consistency - and has lost less than 10% of its volume. One of these things had a lot more water in it than the other...

Actually my beard is fairly heavy. I work from home and nobody ever sees me "at work", so I don't worry too much if I just look like a scruff a lot of the time. :)

Thank you Joe and I did not realize that there were two versions. I will get some of the Gillette branded ones and try those as well. The last couple of months have convinced me that it’s well worth my time to keep sampling more blades.

Great GSB shave Joe. I need to pop one into my razor soon, just to reset my memory to continue blade testing…

Great shave set up Joe...Glad to see your getting more familiar with the 39c. It's a wonderful razor once you gel with it. The trouble with the 37c it's what I call a "comfort zone razor",and you tend to shy away from its bigger sibling the 39c for this reason...If I had to pick a favourite all-round DE razor, then the 37c would be a very strong contender. It's such a smooth enjoyable razor to use with great results and has paired together with every DE blade I have used with it. I also like my Parker semi-slant 55SL which also has a long handle like the merkur 39c.
