We seem to have close to identical taste in blades. I probably could have skipped all of the testing and just asked for your top ten list

 

When your Pro 49 is broken in, the scritchiness will be gone and it will feel very nice.

 

I like aggressive blades, but I have learned to be selective so that I prefer sharp and smooth ones.

 

My Throwback Thursday offering turned out to be a nice shave. It'd been a long while since I used Beau Brummel. I put the advice of Doc @Primo to good use and eased up on the shave. Especially the areas wherte I have had cuts in the past. I did get a Knick(middle of the jawline), but no other damage. The Puros A.S.(Razorock)went on well-lots of tingles, which means it's doing its job.It's a nice aftershave-good, healthy tobacco without tue Tabac(sorry, Charlie). Super Duper Outstanding.

Super early morning shave. Up before 4 AM and on the road by 4:30 for the final leg of the trip from southern Virginia to Long Island. Arrived in time to meet my wife and her sister for lunch at 11:30.

The Stache Soap Works soap which I had pressed into this stick 6 years ago continues to deliver a nice lather. If I was to use it more often the. The Edmund Fitzgerald would come calling sooner rather than later.

The 200T whipped up a nice face lather and the Yagi razor took care of the rest. Three passes to a nice error free and close shave.

I had met a friend who was visiting from Minneapolis so I didn't do my regularly scheduled afternoon shave. I had other things to do afterwards so I just got home a half hour ago. I could have waited tomorrow morning, but I wanted a easy and relaxing shave to wind down. The Gillette Heritage was just the ticket. It is a mild but efficient razor to tackle my 1 day stubble. I went for the Captain's Choice North because it gives a slick and easy lather without a heavy scent. It's just me so I don't find it necessary to have a strong scent. Here's my lather:



Did a three pass shave and got an error-free BBS result. The alum feedback was silent. Splashed on the witch hazel and the matching aftershave and I am good for the rest of the evening. Take care.
