Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Cien PURE Fragrance Free Sensitive Bar Soap.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Synthetic.
Face & Head Lather.
Lather: Wilkinson Sword Shave Stick.
Blade: Supermax Blue Diamond. (D1)
Razor: Wilkinson Sword Classic Premium TTO.

Post:
Cold water Face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/ Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./ Alum Rub./Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Homemade (~Autumn/Winter mix~) peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel/Blue Stratos ASL. / Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel./Blue Stratos EdT.

A very in-expensive eclectic Boxing day shave set up where everything paired together wonderfully.

The WS shave stick is a wonderful shave stick it's surprising how much of a good lather you get from this humble shave stick.

It's a such a shame that they have now been discontinued.

Another enjoyable close comfortable combined face & head shave with no errors to report. Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Blue Stratos EdT to the pulse points.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.

Soap = Stirling Black Cherry
Razor = Aristocrat
Blade = vintage Minora, no country of manufacture, around 1980s from my Mother in Law’s sewing kit from South Africa all those years ago. No idea where this was made, no matter it worked a treat
Passes = 2 +
Post = Usual with PR Sandalwood and shea ASL
Scent = Bulgari Man Wood Essence EdP
Damage = None

Score = 9 ++ /10
Comments = Last blade in this really old tuck: is it worth buying old blades should we come across them? well this one worked out fine.
I am moving to using more strokes per pass ie XTG both ways in the the first pass, much more efficient, second pass with some ATG in the safe areas
Super smooth and a wonderful new fragrance for a restful day at home

Another great shave with Fine's Latigo. Yesterday I said I might repurchase this when the time comes, and today "might" has become "will indeed". Clean and clear all over-no cuts, polkadots, and one slight Knick(but painless). The soap jumps onto the brush if loaded properly enough. The Latigo aftershave shows the shaver how nice it smells. Super Duper Outstanding.

 

Hi Laird. I think we all have too many razors and software. Lol! Seriously, I understand how you feel. I started wetshaving at 63 and have approximately 25 razors that encompass straights, shavettes, DE's, SE's and Injectors. I like using different razors because I would get bored using just a few and therefore, shaving wouldn't be as much fun for me. I am 68 and wouldn't have it any other way. Admittedly, the lack of space is the main drawback in this hobby. Sranger things can happen so that I wouldn't be surprised if you changed your mind. I have heard of people selling and giving away razors because of the reason you mentioned and they later regretted it. I hope that would not be the case if you do whittle down your inventory.

I decided to purchase myself a small Christmas gift by taking advantage of Pasteur’s free shipping and 20% discount on my first order to pick up the Hoffman’s TUT software. The scent profile listed is as follows:

“This is a classic scent profile but with a twist! Features a very well done Egyptian Musk blended with a Black Oud.”

The CRD synthetic brush gradually works to whip up a nice slick and reasonable thick lather. Of course if I wanted it thicker, I could have continued to work the lathering process in the bowl. I was rewarded with an exceptionally close and comfortable shave. The scent of the soap and splash is not overly dark and overpowering. It is just like Goldilocks old attest, “Just right”.

Today is another one of my travel days. That being said, our flight has been delayed due to the “pea soup” of a fog we have here on LI. I know Joe, @Trigger is ecstatic.

Congrats on your new purchase Joe! Excellent shave, my friend. Coming home from Lynbrook and then Westbury was not fun with the fog last night. Yes, I like the warmer temperatures that we have had the last few days. I am glad it wasn't a white Christmas. Now, if it only can stay this way through March. I know. It's wishful thinking.

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!
I decided to go for an autopilot shave with the Schick I-1 Injector. I picked the PAA K. Rex Emporium because it's a clean, light barbershop scent and lathers well. Here's my lather:



Did 3 passes and achieved an error-free BBS that is just shy of passing the cotton ball test.
The alum feedback was quiet. Witch hazel and that cooling AV Ice Blue was slapped on my face and neck. It was definitely a very nice shave. Take care.
