December 30, 2023 Wolfman Guerrilla Bronze with 0.69mm Gillette 7 O’clock Black Zenith B27 Boar WSP Ol’Kentucky Small Batch Shave Tonic Happy Saturday Everyone. Another great shave this morning with the Guerrilla. I'm in for a good day of watching college football. I hope everyone has a great day. Take care.
Saturday, December 30 I Coloniali~~Morris & Forndran Ali Baba 2 (Lee Sabini knot)~~Ralf Aust~~Vintage Ralph Lauren Polo (Warner) While some of us lounge around watching football...ahem, ahem. Primo's been (at the polite request of Dr. Mrs. Primo) rearranging furniture, hanging a cuckoo clock, and, for you culinary clowns: Working on a Sourdough loaf. 270g freshly-milled Farro 466g organic bread flour Some flax seeds to give the appearance of healthiness. Since this dough will cold ferment until New Years morning, I will update you all with some glamor-shots, post-bake, post-haste.
I hope all my shave brethren had a great Christmas. Our fam has been sick, so the holiday week has been a bit of a blur for us. Here’s to a happy, healthy 2024 for all!
Randy, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family. I pray that you all recover quickly. Take care of yourself, my friend.
A belated Happy Birthday! I am pleased to see you are following the proper protocol, that looks like a very nice bowl. Well done, bye bye Mike's. Happy Birthday to Asha! I hope you family has recovered and can enjoy the new year.
Happy New Years to all my TSD brothers! The past two weeks were crazy, lots of biz trips (think planes, trains and automobiles) as well as trying to finish out the year. My last day working will be January 5, so in the last two weeks I have been going around dressed as Santa and met all 250 employees, gave them a hand written card and presents. Amazingly we were able to keep secret from all the branches, so everyone got to be surprised. I will miss the people but not the regulators or stress. Last week inlcuded many early evening so my go to razor was my trusty Cobra Classic and just one Dovo straight razor shave.
Congratulations on your retirement, Keith. Your success in a foreign country (to us---no longer to you) is impressive. Happy New year.
Joseph, I can't wait to see the progress on your Sourdough loaf. Our California friend is also a baker, and I brought a sample of her Sourdough starter back to a friend here in Kentucky. The starter's name is Mrs. Doubtfire. I assume you have named your starter. If not, I will happily undertake the task of naming it. In other words, you better name it quickly and register such with your copyright attorney. Happy New Year, my odoriferous friend and crooning comrade. P.S. I don't like to brag, but I can 3017 a loaf of sourdough bread in record speed.
December 31, 2023 Tatara Muramasa @ 5 Tatra Tatara Semogue WSP Ol’Kentucky Small Batch Shave Tonic This year is just about in the books. Asha is back in Tampa and I am dog sitting for Maya tonight while she goes out for New Years. This soap is sinking so fast. I guess it will be done within a week or so. Have a great day and Happy New Year. December 2023 Recap I used quite a few SE razors this month as well as pulling out a neglected DE and a new addition. I made big strides in destroying the WSP soap as well. As usual the best part of the month was hanging out with you guys.
Happy New Year, Charlie and to your lovely bride, Kathy. As of today, I have never considered "naming" my starter, so...go for the gusto, pal. Christen it as you see fit.
