Since this dough will cold ferment until New Years morning, I will update you all with some glamor-shots, post-bake, post-haste.
I hope all my shave brethren had a great Christmas. Our fam has been sick, so the holiday week has been a bit of a blur for us. Here’s to a happy, healthy 2024 for all!

Happy New Years to all my TSD brothers! The past two weeks were crazy, lots of biz trips (think planes, trains and automobiles) as well as trying to finish out the year. My last day working will be January 5, so in the last two weeks I have been going around dressed as Santa and met all 250 employees, gave them a hand written card and presents. Amazingly we were able to keep secret from all the branches, so everyone got to be surprised. I will miss the people but not the regulators or stress. Last week inlcuded many early evening so my go to razor was my trusty Cobra Classic and just one Dovo straight razor shave.

Asha is back in Tampa and I am dog sitting for Maya tonight while she goes out for New Years. This soap is sinking so fast. I guess it will be done within a week or so. Have a great day and Happy New Year. December 2023 Recap I used quite a few SE razors this month as well as pulling out a neglected DE and a new addition. I made big strides in destroying the WSP soap as well. As usual the best part of the month was hanging out with you guys.

Sunday, December 31 I Coloniali~~Simpson 90th Anniversary Astor~~Barbasol FH/Feather~~Small Batch Shave Tonic For the final shave of 2023, I used some well-loved products. The Barbasol FH really was extraordinary with the once-used Feather blade. I found a tuck in my AS-D2 box and it's my last one. I would mos def® repurchase these blades. The Simpson harkens back to a better time from Simpson. IMO, they have fallen prey to the globalization of badger hair acquisition. The juice is a terrific juice; I only wish the longevity was better. Here's wishing all my comrades at arms, a wonderful, successful, healthy and happy 2024! See you next year.
