Aaaah, you cut off a couple seconds by saying "Adulting", but other than that I see no logic in that A word.
There may well come a time when no one says that anymore, which will make anyone who says it sound silly FOR saying it.
And that's the only time I use it--when I'm being silly. "If you're not just a little bit crazy, you'll soon go insane." ~ Me
Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes by JB; you are correct. Good call by you. His last line is, "If we weren't all crazy we would go insane." I prefer being a little bit crazy than being plain crazy!
Some words or phrases that irritate me are the following. “We conversated”. No you had a conversation. “We had an altercation.” You mean you had a fight. “Bling bling”. Used by people who never heard the word LAVISH. “My crib.” You mean your home.
They very well may have had an altercation if no physical contact was made - per Webster: a noisy, heated, angry dispute. A fight can very well imply either the verbal altercation or an all out fisticuffs
True, but in most instances when I hear this phrase the person talking generally means they had a physical fight.
Coversated is weird all right. Course this comes from a man who very quickly got tired with "Invite"(as in "Thanks for the invite").
