Did a 3 pass error-free shave witha BBS result. I just like the scent and the slickness of this soap. It was a little thinner than I usually produce, but it still performed well. Usually, I place more soap in the bowl when I use a Badger because they are lather huggers. Here's my lather:



The alum was mostly silent. It was followed by the witch hazel and the matching aftershave. Under my old grading system, this shave would be an A+. Take care.

Yesterday turned out busier than expected, but was a great test for my new facial care routine. The snow just kept coming, so I was out in the cold wind for several cleanup sessions.

So far my face is holding up fine.

Shave was another easy, two pass BBS/DFS affair. It seems that (for me at least), the right blades are more important than which razor I’m using.

One more with the travel razor tomorrow, then on to the last of the mild razors I’m testing.

Early morning pre work shave
Usual prep except hot water ----> no difference as far as I can tell
Repeat performance with the Slim I-4, Bay Rum and Shark Super Chrome (3)
Still nice and smooth, but I binned the blade anyway
Usual post
Bay Rum Virgin Island ASL to keep me company during the day
No damage
9+/10
Super smooth once again. Less trouble around the chin and cleft than usual. Is this me or the shape of the Gillette Slim design?
Zone 8 conquered once again

I’m also awaiting your review. I put the Suneko blades “just” below GSB’s, which I’m a fan of. Curious to get the opinion of another GSB aficionado….

We had over a foot of snow Saturday night and all day Sunday. Ow they are saying warm and rainy by Wednesday. Go figure….
