Fabulous barbershop shave this morning. Three superb passes with excellent results. The boar brush continues to whip up a phenomenal lather.

Great vintage shave Joe! Not sure where in FL you are, but my family is in Clearwater and it's supposedly crazy there. We are going to get pounded up here too. All that snow is going to be gone...

 

Very nice Scott. I am glad you are having success with your daily shave. Prior to getting the wetshaving bug in earnest back in 2017 I used to shave everyday except for Sunday. I felt I needed to give my face a break. Since 2017 I have missed only one day. I just love the process.

Looking back in my archives, I haven't used this razor in a few months so it was definitely time to do so. Of course, I had to do a face and a headshave with it. Although the Cella scent is gone, the lather still performs well and so it got the nod today. I dryloaded the brush to facelather and when finished, I headlathered to clear the dome to finish this session.
Man oh man, this razor is very efficient even with 6 uses on the blade.
Did 2.5 passes on face and neck and 3 passes on the dome. The results were BBS all around without a drop of blood escaping my circulatory system and nada on the irritation front. The alum feedback was negligible on the face and neck. There was zero feedback on the dome.
Splashed on the witch hazel and then the wonderful AV Ice Blue aftershave to complete the shave. I happy with this shave. Take care.

The ingrown hairs have nothing to do with the Bill Neumann products. But then again you have known the cause for a while.
