Wonderful Fat Friday shave Danny.

 

Real nice shave today. Only glitch was a polka-dot just North of the jawline, on South Porcupine. I didn't realize how well I was progressing with my soap(Stoylin Sheep), as the "duffnut"(doughnut) hole is getting larger. I had to do a "re-do" on parts of North Porcupine(area just under nostrils,) but that worked out fine-no redness, The Yardley aftershave is on the cool side-made me think of holding off on that until spring/summer, but it turned out fine. It's nice to use following an unscented soap. A Super Duper Outstanding for this shave.

Another fine barbershop shave this morning gentlemen. Three passes to super smoothness. As luck would have it, on my last stroke ATG on the upper lip the heel of the razor decided to take a bite. Hate when that happens especially at the lip line. It took some time, several rounds of tissues paper to calm the bad boy down. I am not worse for wear.

Now I am heading to a seafood festival approximately 25 miles south of the Southern den in Punta Gorda.

Two very nice shaves with the Ever Ready 200.
The Ever Ready 200 was the first brush I ever used. It was my father’s that I swiped back in the ‘70s when he transitioned to Edge shaving gel.

 

Great shaves Chris. Four was the magic number for me as well with Kai’s, and only three really good ones. Just a bit longer lasting than Feathers.

 

Thank you Joe. I do appreciate the health benefits and all the money I probably saved over the years. It’s insane now. A pack a day smoker is spending close to $600 per month to kill themselces.

Despite the oops, that was a very fine shave, Joe.

 

I just looked up the prices of a pack of cigarettes. It ranges from 10 to 13 dollars per pack. So a 3 pack a day habit is approximately 280 dollars/ wk and that's $1132/month, $13,584/yr. You can take a nice first class vacation with that money instead of letting it literally go up in smoke.
