It may sound strange, but I’ve been thinking about that first shave with the Proraso trio since it happened. It was that good, and I was really looking forward to this morning. Even though I’m loaded up, I carved out some extra time for this one.

I also took the pre shave cream into the shower this time, washed my face first, and then let the lemony cream sit on my beard for the rest of the shower.

The Feather blade absolutely sings in this razor. I was able to feel the Kai, probably due to it being a bit wider, but was back to the wiping sensation with the Feather. Absolutely effortless all BBS shave. Two passes plus a few touch ups. Zero feedback from the alum…

One more CG shave tomorrow and then on to a more aggressive razor.

Consecutive days shaving- 20
Current skin issues or irritation- None so far

Thank you Joe. It was a really nice shave this morning. Better than the rest of my day is going so far....

 

APnother fine shave this morning with OSP(Old Gold). As is customary, I changed brushes, this time to the

Brush-Razorock Plissoft 400 Synthetic

which has become a new favorite of mine. It picked up a lot of soap to administer to my face and neck. 1 cut, no Knicks, 1 Polka-Dot. Certainly less successful than my prior 2 shaves. I need to get back on track with going softer and slower. Nice work along the cheeks&sideburnsand both ends of Porcupine Alley. The other areas need improvement. 2 passes. Will have to settle for Pretty Outstanding today.

Last two phenomenal shaves. The first in the Southern Den and the second back in the slightly snowy Norther Den.

Both shaves feature a wonderfully rich and slick lather which aided in getting a super close shave. Both Genco razors, love the NY steel, hold an edge exceptionally well and are super sharp.

Hopefully you are all safe and warm.

 

My mistake. I have the aftershave which I find to be quite mild and not long lasting. Perhaps I will put it the rotation this weekend to test the scent.
